Walk to School with the Orediggers

Ready, set, walk!

Join Montana Tech student-athletes and coaches on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 for a fun Walk to School Day. You'll be part of a "Walking School Bus" as you meet the Orediggers at your elementary school's designated meeting point and walk to school together. Plus, with support from Intermountain Health, the Montana Tech Foundation, and the Montana Tech Mining Engineering Department, everyone gets a free T-shirt to commemorate the day.

Butte Central Grade School

Hey Maroons! Get ready to kick off Walk to School Day with some special guests. On September 30, Montana Tech student-athletes will be at Butte Central to greet you before school starts. The Montana Tech Mining Engineering Team will also be there to join the fun and hand out t-shirts.

Emerson Elementary
