Students will use this time to build their math, writing, and college success skills. Montana Tech is committed to our students’ success, and we know that having a smooth transition to college can help. By participating in the SHARP (Supporting High Achievement, Retention, and Persistence) Summer Bridge Program, students will gain the resources that will set them up for success in their first year at Tech and beyond. In addition, having an early move in and getting settled on campus can help ease that transition to a new school.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Do you want to improve your math placement?
  • Do you want to improve your writing skills?
  • Do you want to build study skills that can help you during the fall semester and beyond?
  • Do you want to build confidence and leadership skills?
  • Do you want to meet fellow students, staff, and faculty who can help support your success?
  • Do you want to get familiar with the Montana Tech campus, Butte, and the surrounding area and have fun at the same time?

If you answered yes, then the SHARP Program is ideally suited for you!

Join us the two weeks before school starts!

You will have priority/early move-in on Sunday, August 10th, 2025, and the program will go until orientation starts on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025.

You can expect to boost your math knowledge, improve your writing skills, and learn more about what it takes to thrive on a college campus. In addition, we’ve planned some fun activities and outings so that you can get to know Butte and the surrounding area.
