Oredigger women’s basketball to play for first Frontier title since 1983

The Montana Tech women's basketball team will play top-seeded Dakota State for the Frontier Conference Championship at the Butte Civic Center at 5 p.m. on Monday. This is the team’s first appearance in the title game since winning it in 1983.

The following is a message to campus sent to faculty and staff on behalf of Athletic Director Matt Stepan:

Dear Faculty and Staff - It is Championship Monday!

To ensure the Butte Civic Center is rocking for our No. 2 Orediggers as they take on No. 1 Dakota State, we have 50 FREE tickets available for Montana Tech Faculty and Staff.

Let’s keep the home-court advantage strong and bring home the Frontier Conference title!

  • Ticket Pickup: Front desk of the Frank and Ann Gilmore University Relations Center.
  • Availability: First-come, first-served (Limit 2 per person).
  • Deadline: Please grab your tickets by 4:00 pm today.
