Dr. John W. Ray of Montana Tech’s Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Department has had two peer reviewed paper presentations on environmental justice accepted for international conferences next year. One paper is entitled “Environmental Justice in the Structured Community Environment: Challenges and Lessons” accepted for presentation at the Fourteenth International Conference on the Constructed Environment to be held at Universität Wien, Vienna, Austria. The other paper is entitled “Environmental Protection Regulations and Environmental Justice Communities: Do These Regulations Take into Account the Special Circumstances of Environmental Justice Communities?” accepted for presentation next year at the Twentieth International Conference on Environmental, Cultural, Economic and Social Sustainability at the University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal.
Dr. Ray teaches classes at Montana Tech in political science, public policy and political philosophy.
