veterans-home-display-cases.jpgBeautiful display cases will grace the walls in the new Southwest Montana Veterans Home thanks to the hard work and dedication by students and instructors at Montana Technological University. The new display cases will hold the shovels used to break ground on the Veteran's Home. These shovels are signed by several people instrumental in bringing this amazing project to life.

For the past 3 weeks, the construction technology – carpentry students and instructors have been working on these display cases. One display case will be installed by the team from Montana Tech on Thursday, April 15th at 1:00 pm at the Veterans Home located at 469 Blacktail Loop in Butte, Montana.

The project was a labor of love and included involvement from the Butte community. Local glass supplier, Butte Glass, donated the glass for the cases.

Mike Fink and Rich Miller, instructors in the construction technology program, said, “Along with our students, we are very honored to be able to add a little something to an already exceptional project."
