Montana Technological University Recognized for Low Student Loan Debt

Montana Technological UniversityLendEDU’s Fourth Annual Student Loan Debt Report Highlights Montana Tech at #1 for the State of Montana

Montana Technological University was recognized for having the lowest student loan debt in the state of Montana for graduates by LendEDU. Their fifth annual report, released August 19, placed Montana Tech No. 1 for Montana and No. 91 nationally among public and private colleges and universities for having the lowest average student loan debt per borrower.

Montana Tech’s average student debt per borrower for 2019 graduates was $23,632, with 58 percent of our graduates taking on debt. The average debt for students from the class of 2019 was $29,076.

“We know Montana Tech is a smart investment, and this ranking demonstrates just that,” noted Chancellor Les Cook.
