About CAMP

CAMP is located in Butte, Montana on the campus of Montana Tech of the University of Montana. CAMP offers consulting, research, industrial process development and testing facilities focused on providing high-quality solutions to industrial clients worldwide by supporting, developing and adding value to the global mineral, metallurgical and materials industry. CAMP enjoys a unique situation, having its own staff of metallurgical, mechanical and chemical engineers coupled with the ability to draw upon the expertise of Montana Tech faculty members from all disciplines as necessary.

CAMP specializes in process engineering, development and testing, and conducts applied projects with industrial and government clients throughout the world. The objectives of CAMP are to support the sustainability of mining and mineral industry, to be a leader in process development, to expand its knowledge base into alternative energy and to use our expertise in materials testing, evaluation, development, and manufacturing.

Butte and southwest Montana offer many benefits, including excellent scenery, world class fishing, excellent skiing locations and the opportunity for students to advance their career by doing research on new and emerging technologies within the mining and metallurgical educational fields.
