Biography

JonAlan was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana. He grew up spending time on the lake whenever the weather was good and the lake was warm. He graduated from Flathead High School in 2011 and started his college education at Flathead Valley Community College, where he received an AAS. From there, he transferred to the University of Montana receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with emphases in Applied Mathematics and in Statistics, and then went on to get a Master of Arts in Mathematics with a focus on Statistics, as well as a Certificate in Big Data Analytics. He is now presented with an amazing opportunity to be a visiting professor at Montana Tech.

Non-Research Interests

JonAlan Osborne is interested in computational statistics, applied mathematics and algorithms, and computer science.
