Biography

I have an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, INDIA, followed by a MS in Engineering Science (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and a PhD in Mathematics from University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA. I have been a Postdoctoral Researcher in mathematics at Ben Gurion University, ISRAEL, and a participant in the Semester in Quantitative Geometry, Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, Berkeley.

Research Interests

I am broadly interested in geometric and topological questions, and connections with other parts of mathematics such as algebra (group theory) and analysis. The fields I have been active in the past few years are geometric group theory and large scale geometry.
