I am a graduate student at Capella University working toward a PhD in Public Service Leadership with a Specialization in Social and Community Services. I love the online learning environment, as it is a perfect fit for my extremely busy life. I have an educational background with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), and a Masters of Science in Leadership (MSL) both from Grand Canyon University. Undergrad with a Bachelors in Business, and 20+ years ago I had a certificate in Surgical Technology, which I then used to advanced and become a Certified Surgical Technologist/ Certified First Assistant (CST/CFA). Over the years healthcare has been ever advancing in the practice of electronic health records and health information technology.


Research Interests

My research interests include the roles of emotional intelligence, technology, and group behavior while providing services various community entities. I enjoy working with students while mentoring them into professional and leadership roles.
