REGISTER FOR CLASSES

Now that you are officially an Oredigger it’s time to take care of the business side of things, but don’t worry, more fun is right around the corner.

There are two ways for new incoming students to register for classes. You can either set up an appointment with your advisor or attend a summer registration event. As a new student, we recommend you attend a registration event and take full advantage of meeting some of your new classmates, exploring campus, and getting to know some of the faces who are here to help you along the way.

Registration for new students opens in early June and continues throughout the summer until classes are full. Some classes do tend to fill up faster than others so plan to register early. Keep in mind that attending a registration event is the only way we can guarantee that an advisor will be available for class registration. Many of our advisors are doing field research or consulting work over the summer so it may be difficult to contact them for an appointment.
