Other costs

The costs for tuition, housing and books are listed in the table above.  The following items are in addition to those costs:

  • Commercial Driver's License (DMV):  up to $75.00
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) physical:  about $150
  • Lineman boots:  $200-$500
  • Boots, gloves, cold-weather clothing:  varies
