Henry Gonshak, PhD
Teaching and Research Interests:
Henry Gonshak is an English professor in the Liberal Studies program at Montana Tech. He teaches courses in College Writing, British Literature, Holocaust Studies, Creative Writing, Gay Literature, Shakespearean Drama, Introduction to Literature and Sports Literature. He also teaches in the Honors program at Montana Tech. In 2000, he was awarded the Rose and Anna Busch Endowed Professorship for excellence in teaching, research and scholarship, an endowment he still holds. Last year, he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to spend a year teaching at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. He reviews books and local theater for "The Montana Standard," Butte's local newspaper. He is working on a book about fictional portrayals of the Holocaust in American popular culture.
