Timothy Kober is the Department Head of the Business & Information Technology (BIT) program.  He began teaching at Montana Tech in 1989, and teaches Cost Accounting, Governmental Accounting, Corporate Tax, and Principals of Economics.   Professor Kober received a BA in economics, BS in accounting, and
an MBA in finance. He earned his Ed.D. in educational leadership in March of 2008,  from the University of Montana.  He holds certifications as a CPA, CMA, and CFM.
Professor Kober's consulting and research areas include: Income tax, business valuation, and accounting education.
