Dr. Charles Ericksen joins the Montana Tech faculty after a number of years as a professor and administrator in higher education. He has been a Dean of Faculty (Carroll College), Associate Dean of Business (Salt Lake City Community College), Director of the Master's in Accounting program (Montana State), Director of the MBA program (University of Nebraska), Chair of Business (Western State College), and Chair of Accounting & Finance (University of Nebraska). He has held tenure (Carroll College, University of Nebraska, and Western State College) and taught at a number of institutions including Carroll College, The University of Nebraska (Kearney), The University of Wisconsin (Madison, Platteville, & Stout), Dickinson State University, Western State College of Colorado, Mesa State College, and Voronezh State University (Russia).

Chuck holds undergraduate degrees in economics and accounting and graduate degrees in business and management education. He is also a Certified Management Accountant. His research interests include capital structure theory and small business failure.
