Workforce Development Courses do not require college admissions.
Courses have a minimum enrollment requirement of prepaid students. Enrollment minimums must be met by the identified deadline prior to the course start date. Courses not meeting enrollment minimums will be canceled and registration fees will be returned in full. Please register on-time to avoid course cancellation.
Using a comprehensive curriculum, students in the Commercial Driver's LIcense (CDL) program at Highlands College will receive online and classroom instruction and real behind-the-wheel driving experience on the skills course, within city limits and on both area highways and interstates. The program is recognized by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) as meeting the Entry-Level Driving Training standards addressing skills, theory/knowledge, tasks, and the duties required of entry-level commercial vehicle drivers.

The program provides students with the basic information and skills needed to provide care to residents/patients in assisted living/long-term care facilities and acute care settings. Student who successfully complete the course will be prepared for and encouraged to complete the Montana Certified Nurse Aide licensing exam.
Program is provided by Highlands College of Montana Technological University and is approved by the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services under its Nurse Aide Registry office. Instructor Christine Ketchum, LPN.
