Program Overview

Health Care Informatics (HCI) is an important specialization in the health care industry. HCI unites the disciplines of information technology, communications, and health care to provide the right information at the right time to the right people in order to make both clinical and business decisions. The HCI graduate certificate equips current professionals such as information technologist, computer scientists or health care professionals with the graduate level leadership and analytic skills to advance your career in Health Care Informatics. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a bachelor's degree with relevant work experience.

The 15-credit certificate can be completed within one year by a working professional. It is available fully online. Students proceed together in a cohort, with cohorts forming based on student interest.
