Admissions Procedures

Apply Now
  1. Submit your completed Application for Admission.
  2. Request to have your official ACT or SAT scores sent to Montana Tech or complete the placement exam.
    • Test scores are not required for an admission decision. However they may be used for course placement and to determine scholarship eligibility. 
    • Scores must be sent directly from the testing company using Montana Tech’s school code; ACT – 2418 and SAT – 4487.
    • You may schedule to take the placement exam at Montana Tech.
  3. Send proof of high school graduation or equivalent. 
    Transcripts should come directly from your high school and must include your graduation date, final GPA, and an official signature.
  4. If you completed a high school equivalency exam, official scores can be sent to the Admissions Office.
  5. Non-traditional students may provide a copy of their high school diploma in place of transcripts.
