LITTLE DIGGER DAY

Little Digger Day is designed for grade school children to visit our campus and interact with students and professors by completing fun activities that stimulate their interests in science and mathematics.

Little Digger Day

Historically, the Technical Outreach Office at Montana Tech has hosted anywhere from 40 to 60 field trips per year for visiting schools. The establishment of Little Digger Day will allow us to provide our services to more schools and engage more of the campus community in hosting you and your students. This is an annual event that is held in the spring. Many departments at Montana Tech have activities planned for your students. The day's schedule begins around 9 AM and cycles students through the activities in half hour workshops until 2 PM. A lunch break will be provided and your students can opt to purchase a lunch on campus or bring their own lunch.

If you would like more information on the next Little Digger Day, please contact Annette Kankelborg at (406)496-4694.
