Undergraduate students wishing to participate in the Undergraduate Research Program must apply to the program. The application guidelines and materials (links are found below) describe the Undergraduate Research Program in more detail and provide specific application procedures and eligibility requirements.

Highlights of the program include:

Each participating student will receive a $1,500 stipend payable in two $750 increments.

For purposes of the awards, research is broadly defined and may include investigations of a cultural or historical question, documentary or production arts, as well as laboratory or field research more typically associated with the science or engineering disciplines.

The forms linked on the left are REQUIRED by all participants in the Undergraduate Research Program who plan to TRAVEL as part of their research project or to present the results of their projects.
The W-9 and Travel Authorization forms are required PRIOR to your travel to assure your reimbursement. The Travel Expense voucher is an Excel spreadsheet designed to expedite your reimbursement. |

The Undergraduate Research Committee, as part of the requirements of the Undergraduate Research Program (URP), requires that all students of accepted proposals complete the form entitled, "Montana NSF EPSCoR Data Questionnaire."
