An Analysis to Gather the Interests of Young Minds to the Computer Science Field and Ways to Improve Interest Abstract Computer Science – There has been a decline in the student enrollment in the field of computer science since the fall of 2000 and it hasn’t stopped dropping. The jobs have not been filled in the computer science industry. What type of student is currently interested in computer science and do they know what computer science is? In order to answer this question I have done research on what they have done in the past on this issue. Also I have created a survey to give to the high school students and will be able to answer this question through the results of the survey and interviews of the students. Biography
