Twelfth Annual Montana Tech Undergraduate Research Spring Fair

Montana Tech will hold its Twelfth Annual Undergraduate Research Fair on Saturday, April 5, 2008. This fair is held annually to recognize and encourage research by undergraduate students at Montana Tech.
All students, faculty, and the general public are invited to attend the Welcoming Session on Saturday at 8:00 AM as well as either special talk on Friday at 6:30 PM (Mining-Geology Building, Room 204) or Saturday at 8:35 AM (Student Union Building, Big Butte/Highlands Room). This year's Special Guest Speaker is Gary Seifert, P.E., E.E., Senior Program Manager from Idaho National Laboratory. The title of Gary's talk on Friday night is "The Answer is in the Wind, an Overview of Wind Energy." Saturday's Plenary Presentation is titled "Unsolved Problems for Wide Spread Applications of Wind Energy."
Also, everyone is invited and encouraged to attend any of the sessions listed on the schedule. The final 2008 schedule is now available (link below). Individual student abstract and biography pages can be accessed by clicking on each student name on the schedule.

The Undergraduate Research Program is funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the Montana Tech Research Office. The Program is administered by the Undergraduate Research Committee consisting of Marisa Pedulla, Chip Todd, Roger Oldenkamp, John Morrison, Mary MacLaughlin, and Courtney Young (Chair).
