Dr. Robert Ziegler has been at Montana Tech for 30 years. He has roamed the planet but his space/time locus seems to be in 19th century France. He has produced numerous scholarly papers and is the author of two recent books, with his 2002 publication being selected as one of the year’s outstanding academic works by the Association of College and Research Libraries. In addition to his personal research he has been instrumental in bringing the excitement of original research to our liberal studies students. He serves on the Undergraduate Research Program Committee and has worked to broaden Montana Tech’s undergraduate research program beyond engineering and science. He holds degrees from Stanford University and Cornell University.
