PRIVACY OF STUDENT RECORD
Montana Tech strictly adheres to the requirements of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regarding release of student records. Please see pertinent information below:
Requesting Non-Disclosure of Directory Information
Students (both on-campus and distance learning students) who request non-disclosure of their directory information must request non-disclosure NO LATER THAN THE SECOND WEEK OF THE SEMESTER. The downloadable form for this purpose can be accessed via this link, and is available from the Registrars Office on both the North and South Campuses. The completed form (hard copy only, with signature) must be returned to the Registrars Office no later than the end of the second week of a semester.

Voter Registration
ATTENTION!!!MONTANA VOTER REGISTRATION CARDS AVAILABLE HERE
Recently enacted federal regulations (National Voter Registration Act) require the college to make voter registration materials available to currently-enrolled students. Students will find voter registration materials in the following locations on campus: Student Union Office and the ASMT Office in the SUB; Residence Halls; COT Student Services Office; and for students with disabilities or those needing special assistance, the Dean of Students Office (Engineering Hall). Montana residents may access additional information and a downloadable Montana voter registration card on the Secretary of States website. Non-resident students will find a universal voter registration card at the Federal Election Commissionss website.
