Great News for Nursing and Montana Tech
The National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) team and consultants to the Montana State Board of Nursing concluded their site visit last week. NLNAC informed the nursing faculty of their recommendation for initial accreditation of the Associate of Science Degree. Also, the consultants representing the Montana State Board of Nursing will recommend continual approval.
This is an excellent indication that the accreditation and approval processes will move forward smoothly. Final approval by the Board of Nursing is expected in January and official accreditation from NLNAC is expected by June.
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed in this process.
