Always by Kayla Sanders
Bob Lawson lived life to the fullest. He loved his family, worked hard, and explored the world. He wanted to help future generations of mining and geological engineers find some of the satisfaction he had found by giving theman opportunity to get an education from Montana Tech, an institution in which he had so stongly believed. As the song says, "When the things you've planned need a helping hand, I will understand--always." Montana Tech is very proud that the legacy of such an amazing man will live on in the hearts of our students---always.

Extreme Living: Stack Tester by Peggy McCoy
If the thought of sitting behind a desk doesn't sound enticing, you may want to consider the occupation of source testing as did Greg Lipnickey, envoirnmental engineering class of 2000. Through contacts made at the 1998 and 1999 Envoirnmental Air and Waste Management Association conferences, Greg secured his first "real" job as a source tester. He recalls, "I first remember hearing about source testing in air sampling lab as a junior at Montana Tech. At the time, it sounded like a great career providing good pay and lots of time outdoors. What I didn't know was what the job really entailed."
A Rock 'n Roll Homecoming by Amanda Badovinac
The Montana Tech campus recently celebrated Homecoming with a Rock 'n Roll theme. The week was filled with many events and concluded with a stellar win on the football field.
