How To Use Your Digital Phone

Using Hold |
- Press HOLD. The lamp flashes beside the line on hold.

- To return to a held call:
- Press the line key with the flashing lamp.

To Transfer a Call |
- To transfer a call to another extension:
- Press TRANSFER. The other party is on hold and you hear dial tone.
- Dial the extension that you want to transfer the call to.
- Press TRANSFER again, either when you hear ringing, or after you talk privately to the person you are transferring the call to.

Using Speaker Phone: If you have a digital phone, you can use the built in microphone and speaker instead of the handset. At any time during a call, you can switch to the handset by picking it up. You can also turn off your microphone so that the other party cannot hear you speaking. |
- To use Speakerphone on a call:
- Press HANDSFREE MUTE or a line key* instead of picking up your handset..
- Press RLS to end your call.

- To mute a Speakerphone call:
- Press HANDSFREE MUTE. The lamp flashes.
- Press it again and return to the two-way conversation.

- To switch from the handset to a Speakerphone call:
- Press HANDSFREE.
- Hang up the handset.
|

Forwarding Calls: Call Forward allows you to send your calls to another extension. |
- Press FORWARD. The lamp flashes.
- Dial the extension that you want to forward your calls to.
- Press FORWARD again. The lamp remains on.

- Press FORWARD. The lamp turns off.
|

Making a Conference Call: You can set up a conference for up to 6 parties, including yourself |
- While on call, press CONFERENCE. The other party is on hold and you can hear the dial tone.
- Dial the number of a third party to add. When the call is answered, you may talk privately with the third party
- Press CONFERENCE again to include all three parties.
- If necessary, repeat the procedure to include up to 6 parties in the conference.

Last Number Redial: Last Number Redial allows you to automatically redial the last number you dialed. |
- To use Last Number Redial:
- Press a free line key.
- Press LAST NO. or press the line key again.

Ring Again: If you receive a busy signal when trying to reach someone in your office, Ring Again automatically redials that number and lets you know that person is off their phone. |
- Press RING AGAIN when you get busy signal.
- Hang up or press RLS.
- When you hear the RING AGAIN tone, select a free line.
- Press RING AGAIN to automatically dial the number.

- Press RING AGAIN before you hear the RING AGAIN tone.
|
