Notice to Students and Faculty Regarding Requests for "Ad-Hoc" Use of Classrooms.
Be sure to contact the Enrollment Processing Office (for North Campus classrooms) or the South Campus Main Office (for South Campus rooms) if you require the use of a classroom outside a regular assigned time. Use of any classroom you've not reserved can cause huge problems for you and someone else who may want (and may have reserved!) the room at the same time.
Please follow these steps:
1. Prior to requesting a classroom, go to the Building & Room Scheduler to see if the room you wish to use appears to be available. Once in the "Daily Activity" site, click a date to begin your search. Click on "Activity View" to display the schedule in grid view. Click "Help" for instructions.
2. If the room appears to be available, contact the appropriate person:
North Campus
All requests for use of a north campus classroom outside regular class times should be EMAILED to Jessica Petritz at jpetritz@mtech.edu or Kathy Williams at kwilliams @mtech.edu with the phrase CLASSROOM REQUEST in the subject line. Please give us a minimum of 48 hours notice. If there is a shorter timeline, please make a phone call to extension 4843 or 4266 so that we are aware of the request and can work on it for you.
South Campus
All requests for use of a South Campus classroom outside regular class times should be EMAILED to Marilyn Patrick at MPatrick@mtech.edu with the phrase CLASSROOM REQUEST in the subject line. Please give us a minimum of 48 hours notice. If there is a shorter timeline, please make a phone call to extension 3711 so that we are aware of the request and can work on it for you.
Other
Requests for use of Student Union and Mill Building Rooms, as well as the Library Auditorium, should be directed to Cristin Nielsen at cnielsen@mtech.edu. Library Auditorium use also needs to be cleared with Jessica Petritz or Kathy Williams.
