Admission Requirements & Standards for Returning Students
You are a returning student if you have ever attended either Montana Tech or the College of Technology. You are considered a returning student even if you have attended another college since your attendance at Montana Tech or the College of Technology.
Requirements
- Application
- Official college transcripts (sent from the school in a sealed envelope) from each college attended since your last attendance at Montana Tech or the College of Technology.
Standards for admission to Montana Tech
You must have a minimum cumulative GPA from your previous attendance at Montana Tech of 2.0. If your GPA is below a 2.0 or you have been suspended once, you will be re-admitted on probation. If you have been suspended twice, you will need to petition the Academic Standards Committee and receive approval before being re-admitted.
Standards for admission to the College of Technology
You must have a minimum cumulative GPA from your previous attendance at the College of Technology of 2.0. If your GPA is below a 2.0 or you have been suspended once, you will be re-admitted on probation. If you have been suspended twice, you will need to petition the Academic Standards Committee and receive approval before being re-admitted.
