STEP 1: Admission Requirements
Admission requirements vary somewhat depending on your status as an incoming student. Click the link to learn about your specific admission requirements:
- First-Time Freshmen - Montana Tech
- First-Time Freshmen - College of Technology
- Transfer Students
- Non-traditional Freshmen
- Returning Students
- Graduate Students

STEP 2: Apply for Admission
Once you have completed all additional requirements, you may Apply for Admission Online. Once you complete the online application, you will be required to pay your $30 application fee on-line. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and electronic checks. This fee is waived for returning students.
You will also have the opportunity to complete the Residence Life application if you indicate that you wish to apply for housing. If you complete the residence life application, you will be required to pay the $100 damage deposit when you submit the application.
