Montana Tech BIT Department Hosting Lecture

The Montana Tech Business & Information Technology Department will host a lecture by Don Gaumer and Paul Gladen on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Copper Lounge in Montana Tech’s Student Union Building. The topic of the lecture is Entrepreneurship in Today’s Business World, Montana Business Start-up Challenge and Other Entrepreneurial Opportunities.
Donald Gaumer is a Professor in the School of Business Administration at the University of Montana where he teaches finance and entrepreneurship. Additionally, he worked for several years in commercial banking concentrating and manufacturing. Throughout his career, Mr. Gaumer has been involved with numerous start-ups, acquisitions and divestitures. He has also led several successful financial restructurings using traditional bank financing and privately placed financing. Gaumer has been an instructor for various professional groups since 1984. His teaching experience includes professional seminars, Western CPE, The University of Montana and The Pacific Coast Banking School.
Paul Gladen is the director of the Blackstone Launchpad which seeks to assist students, faculty and alumni in starting businesses. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of the MADE (Montana Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs). Paul is a successful entrepreneur having founded Muzeview LLC, a market and competitive intelligence firm focused on the professional services sector. Prior to founding Muzeview, Paul was a Partner with Arthur Andersen where he played a key role in growing Arthur Andersen’s Technology, Media and Communications Industry practice in Europe. Paul has worked extensively with leading global technology and telecoms companies as well as with numerous technology start-ups in Europe and the US. Paul has a MA in Mathematics from Oxford University, an MBA from Manchester Business School and is a UK Chartered Accountant.
