Montana Tech Bands Hosting Holiday Concert

Once again it is time for the Montana Tech Band’s Christmas Concert.  The concert is Friday night, December 2 at 7pm at the Mother Lode Theatre.  This concert is free.

The concert will feature a variety of holiday music ranging from Edwin Franko Goldman’s Children’s March to Leroy Anderson’s holiday classic, A Christmas Festival. Montana Tech Dean of Highlands College John Garic will be the be the narrator in A Christmas Tale – Beware the Krampus.  In some European Christmas traditions, Santa Claus does not work alone.  He travels with the “Krampus” a Christmas Devil who does out punishment to bad boys and girls.   This is a fun piece.

The Montana Tech Band has thirty-four members and is directed by Dr. Peter Knudsen. This concert is free and is sponsored by the Mother Lode Theatre.
