Montana Tech's Michelle Christianson selected as Adviser for Virtual Learning Community


The National College Access Network selected Michelle Christianson as one of three college access professionals to serve as an adviser for the Virtual Learning Community for their networks dashboard. As a VLC advisor, Christianson posts weekly college access articles designed to stimulate conversation between college access professionals and educate those who are new to their organizations. In addition, the Montana College Access Network recently presented Christianson with the 2015/2016 Commitment to College Access Award, which is given to an individual who has worked to increase the number of Montanan’s who have access to higher education. Christianson is the associate director for Montana Tech’s Institute for Educational Opportunities Talent Search program, which serves the communities of Helena, Butte, Anaconda and Deer Lodge.
