Montana Tech Ranked #1 on list of Montana Colleges with Best Lifetime ROI

AffordableCollegesOnline.org, today’s #1 resource for college affordability and financial aid information, has identified the Montana colleges and universities with the greatest lifetime return on investment. Graduates from these schools enjoy the largest earnings gap between non-degree holders, over a thirty-year span. Montana Tech landed in the #1 spot, followed by Montana State University, Carroll College, Montana State University-Billings, and The University of Montana.

“We are thrilled to be listed at the top of the list for Montana universities,” announced Chancellor Don Blackketter. “Our graduates enjoy outstanding careers all around the world after graduating from Montana Tech. This list proves that a degree from Montana Tech is a great investment.”

“These are important lists for prospective students to consider,” says ACO founder Dan Schuessler. “We’ve sifted through comprehensive data sources to find colleges and universities in Montana that offer a high quality education with consistent, long-term payoffs in the workplace.”

“The Affordable College Online ranking of ‘First among Montana Colleges’ is great news and a source of pride for both the university and alumni,” noted president of the Montana Tech Alumni Association Gary Carlson. “However, this is not a big surprise to those who know Tech; its leadership, faculty, and alumni have always been aware of the value of a degree from Montana Tech. We're gratified that this fact is increasingly recognized outside of the State and even internationally.”

AffordableCollegesOnline.org provides prospective college students and their parents with information and resources to help them manage the cost of obtaining an education. It’s the first website to offer comprehensive lists of “Most Affordable Colleges” in different categories.

“We aim to educate so that potential students are aware of their options for obtaining a degree and, most importantly, for paying for one,” says Schuessler. What are the most affordable options – online study, two-year, four-year, public or private colleges? What financial aid options are available and what pitfalls should you avoid? Our goal at AffordableCollegesOnline is to keep our finger on the pulse of college-related issues, the latest research, how the government is responding, and help students analyze their options.”
