Tech students are encouraged to attend Leadership Development Conference


Astronauts Walter Cunningham, Gerald Carr, Harrison (Jack) Schmitt (last man to walk on the Moon), and Loren Acton (Montanan) will be hosted at a Leadership Development Conference at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont. in the Fortin Education Center auditorium on Friday, March 22, 2013. The event is sponsored by Judith K. Jurist Memorial Education Fund and Montana NASA EPSCoR, and was organized by John M. Jurist. Jurist is currently an Adjunct Professor of Biophysics and Aviation at Rocky Mountain College and an Adjunct Professor of Space Studies at the Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, University of North Dakota. The conference will include a panel discussion with students and faculty at 11 a.m. and then an open panel discussion with faculty, students, staff and the public at 4 p.m. All Montana college students are invited to attend; RSVP required by 3/20/13 to msgc [at] montana [dot] edu.
