The Mine Design, Operations & Closure Conference is proud to be celebrating 20 years of educational conferences. As one of the last mining conferences of its kind in the northwest, the conference will once again offer the latest in mining-related technologies and methods, delivered by a host of industry professionals. Location
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort will once again be the host facility for the Mine Design, Operations & Closure Conference. Guest will be treated to two Olympic-size swimming pools, two soaking pools, and a 350-foot water slide, as well as an 18-hole golf course, an on-site massage therapy studio, and fitness center and steam room. - Single Rate: $ 89.00 (plus tax)
- Double Rate: $104.00 (plus tax)
Transportation
Air service is available to Bert Mooney Airport, which is located in Butte. For airport information, call (406) 494-3771.
Shuttle Serice: Fairmont offers 24-hour shuttle service both to and from Bert Mooney Airport. Fee is $10 each way. Call Fairmont Hot Springs Resort at (800) 332-3272 to make arrangements.

Short Course: $120
Tour: $120
General Session: $375 for all three days - or - $150 per day
Daily continental breakfasts and lunches, as well as afternoon snack breaks and two evening socials (one sponsored by Tetra Tech and the other by Pioneer Technical Services) will be provided to all conference participants. If you have special dietary needs, please call (406) 496-4311 to make special arrangements.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: A full refund will be issued to any conference enrollee who cancels up to one week prior to conference time. Anything less than one-week's notice will results in a 50% refund. Refunds will NOT be issued to those who do not show.
Professional Development Hours (PDHs)
By attending the Mine Design, Operations & Closure Conference, you will be eligible for Professional Development Hours (PDHs). Each hour of classtime equates to one PDH.
