Advantages
Our students enjoy a small campus atmosphere and can interact with other students in both engineering and non-engineering degree programs. Each year our students attend and even present at professional conferences. Many of our students receive scholarships from the Pacific Northwest Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (PNW- AIHA) and the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). The SHIH Department has an OSH Club and a student chapter of ASSE. The two clubs coordinate activities to provide a means for students to become acquainted and participate in campus activities. Southwest Montana offers abundant recreational opportunities.
