Each year, Montana Tech's Mining Engineering Department graduates from 15 to 25 engineers with a B.S. degree and from two to five engineers with a Master's degree.

Lexington Mine
The placement rate in Mining Engineering for the 2003 graduating class was 100% with an average starting salary of $51,500.  Reported salaries ranged from $40,000 to $61,000.
