Charter 

The goal of the Geological Engineering Advisory Board is to support  the mission of the Geological Engineering Program at Montana Tech by:

1. Promoting insight and guidance to insure that the evolution of the curriculum  and continuing improvement of the Department's Program meets the  educational needs of future graduates;
2. Assisting in raising external funds to support program needs; and
3. Assisting in recruiting students, and placing graduates in industry, both nationally and internationally

Mission Statement

To assist the Geological Engineering Department and faculty with technical expertise and industry experience to ensure that a quality education that blends theory with  current industrial practices is provided to students, which enable them, as graduates,  to embark on and pursue professional careers in the fields of geological engineering.

Vision Statement

Dedicated academic excellence coupled with a close professional relationship with  alumni in industry will ensure timely curriculum evolution and a continuing improvement  in the content of departmental programs to meet the educational needs of future graduates.
