Internships
Throughout the year, companies visit Montana Tech through our Career Services Office, and interview students for internships and future job opportunities. Students are encouraged to apply for internships to gain the relevant experience when applying for positions upon graduation. With the high demand for Environmental Engineering interns, faculty can be another resource when students are looking for internships. Even freshman students are finding excellent internships with very reputable companies.
If an internship is accepted, students must notify Career Services by completing the Internship Information Form.
Alumni Comments on Internships
During my internship with the Air Force, I have done things from designing pavements and parking lots to relocating a special type of soil from the base to a preserve for a state listed plant. The majority of my work has been permit writing in our air program. I just started working in solid waste management within our Pollution Prevention Element. The solid waste program requires innovative ideas to reduce waste generation and increase recycling.
This internship is a great job opportunity for environmental engineers. It has great pay and excellent benefits.
