Visitor Information

Our collections are heavily oriented towards science, engineering, mining and geology, and Montana mining.

We are a U. S. Patent & Trademark Depository Library.  We offer assistance with patent and trademark searching. We strongly recommend appointments for inventors.

The Library is at the west end of the campus. At the end of Park Street, it is the last building on the right side of the street.  Parking is available in the lot immediately west of the library; we will give you a free parking pass. 

From the East
From Interstate 90, take exit 126 towards Montana Street.  Turn right (north) onto Montana Street, and go about 1.35 miles north (straight up) Montana Street to Park Street.  Take a left onto Park Street, and follow straight west to the Montana Tech campus.

From the West
From Interstate 90, take exit 124 (City Center / I-115)-- watch out, as it's a lefthand exit from the interstate.  From I-115, take exit 1, Excelsior Avenue, towards Walkerville.  Turn left to Excelsior Avenue, and follow Excelsior up the hill to Park Street.  Turn left onto Park Street.
