Metallurgical/Mineral Processing Eng
The long-term goal of the Metallurgical and Mineral Processing Engineering Department is to establish and foster international cooperation with foreign institutions. The outcome of the cooperation is envisioned to be cooperative research projects, exchange of students and the exchange of faculty. The themes of these research projects range from thiocyanate and selenium remediation, to cyanide recycling, to Platinum Group Metals reprocessing and recycling to strain evolution in moving weld pools.
The program continues cooperation between Montana Tech of the University of Montana and six international universities:
