Reinventing & Reforming the Montana University System
The Montana Tech Faculty Senate has designated Dr. Hal Millegan (General Engineering) as its representative to the Board of Regents' Workgroup on reinventing and reforming the Montana University System. All faculty members at Montana Tech are encouraged to send comments to Dr. Millegan, and are also encouraged to attend Faculty Senate meetings to hear updates and voice opinions.
Montana Board of Regents' Workgroup
"At its August 3, 2009 annual planning session, the Board of Regents designated a subcommittee of regents to serve as a workgroup to address topics related to reinventing and reforming the Montana University System. This new workgroup is expected to provide project oversight and ensure internal and external feedback in order to facilitate progress on major initiatives between Board meetings. The workgroup will provide regental guidance for the newly formed Leadership Council and will return to the full Board with specific recommendations that will influence the University System’s strategic directions."
