Tech will celebrate its 108th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday,
May 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Alumni Coliseum. Montana Tech Director
of Enrollment Services Tony Campeau estimates a graduating class
of 399. During the ceremony, members of Montana Tech’s Class
of 1958 will receive their 50-year diplomas. In the case of inclement
weather, the ceremony will be moved into the HPER complex on Montana
Tech’s campus.
Commencement week activities will begin on Thursday, May 8 with
the Nursing Pinning Ceremony, which will be held at the HPER Complex
at 7:00 pm. For more information on the Nursing Pinning Ceremony,

On Friday, May 9, alumni and friends of Montana Tech will gather
at the War Bonnet Hotel for the annual Alumni Dinner. This event,
held in honor of the graduating class of 2008, begins at 6:00 pm
with no-host cocktails followed by the banquet at 7:00 pm. The cost
of the dinner is $20.00 per person and reservations are available
by calling 782-7076. This event is sponsored by the Montana Tech
Alumni Association.
On Saturday, May 10th, engineering graduates will participate in
the Order of the Engineer Ceremony at 9:00 am in the Library Auditorium.

May 10th, at 10:15 am, degree candidates will begin assembling at
the HPER Complex in preparation for the Commencement Ceremonies,
which are slated to begin at 11:00 am. A Gala Reception for degree
candidates, family members, and friends will occur immediately following
the Commencement Ceremony (approximately 1:15 pm) in the Student
Union Building Dining Room.
