Gabe Murfitt Presentation (Highlands College & North Campus)
Come hear a fantastic story of overcoming tremendous odds and succeeding through sheer determination.
In 1990, Gabriel Murfitt was born with severe congenital birth defects (Pseudo-Thalidomide Tetra-Phocomelia). He was born without the two bones most people have in their forearm. he doesn't have knee joints, so he can't straighten his legs. His thumbs don't work and he can't bend most of his fingers. He's also 45% deaf. But, with Courage, Leadership, Endurance, and Respect, he overcame these huge odds and, today, he is an engaging and successful 22 year old guy.
All are welcome to attend the presentation at 12pm at Highlands College. Free pizza for those who stay for the entire presentation. Learn more HERE.
