EDRC Technology Transfer Office
The Economic Development Resource (EDRC) has taken on the additional responsibility of the Technology Transfer Office. The cration of this office was in response to the following needs:
- provide assistance to and advise Montana Tech faculty on matters related to copyright and patent protection issues,
- form appropriate relationships between Montana Tech and businesses,
- expolitation for the public good of discoveries and inventions made at Montana Tech,
- uncovering and managing the University's entreprenerial assets, and
- avoiding "confilicts of interest" situations in these processes.
