Connecting to Montana Tech Secure Wireless from Linux
This works for Ubuntu 10.04 Lusid Lynx and Later
(NetworkManager version 0.8.998,
wpa_supplicant version 0.6.9
Gnome version 2.30.2)
Look for one of these icons in your menu bar and select ‘MontanaTechPublicSecure’
Fill in the Fields as shown below:
Use your Montana Tech username and password. Click Ok. This screen will be displayed. Click ignore.

Need help logging in?
You will need your Student ID number (799 number) and your last name in order to retrieve your username and password for the first time. Click here to retrieve your password. These credentials will give you access to MyMTech, E-Mail, Wireless, and any campus computer.
