What's The Difference?

MyMtech is a Portal System, designed to be a one stop destination for most information needed for campus. Blackboard, on the other hand, is where online classes and class information is located.

When logging in, the first place to go is MyMtech. While logged in to Mymtech, you will have access to news and events, local weather, and many other campus technology tools. Of the technology tools, you will also be able to access Blackboard.

Blackboard houses online chats, discussions, documents, and information associated with classes. Each instructor for each class is responsible for the content, which means that content in Blackboard classes will vary. Some classes may be entirely online, while other classes may not utilize Blackboard at all.
