Customizing Your MyMtech Layout

MyMtech is customizable to your needs. You can change the skin, add tabs, and new content to your session.

After clicking the layout tab your user preference toolbar should appear.

Turn Preferences Off
This selection will take you back to your portal homepage.

New Tab
Allows you to create a new tab and place it on either side of the current tabs.
An animated icon   will display the possibilities for placing your new tab.

New Column
New columns are not allowed to be placed on any of the required default tabs, but are completely customizable on any of the new tabs that you create.
Once the new column button has been selected, the animated icon  will appear in the places that are eligible to have a new column created.
After your new column has been created, you may then add new content.

Add Content
New content can be added by selecting the Add Content link in the layout toolbar.
You can then “subscribe” to any portlet shown by drilling down through the menu items until you reach the “subscribe to this channel” link.  After subscribing you will again be prompted by the animated icon  for the placement.

Be sure to click the disk icon to save your changes
