the Workshop.

h. Now that submissions are available for the you, the instructor, to read, you may start to “Allocate” submissions for peer review.

i. Select “Allocate Submissions” in the Submission phase green box. This will direct you to another page in which you may choose from several options of allocation. These include:
i. Manual Allocation

ii. Random Allocation

iii. Scheduled Allocation

j. For tutorials sake, the self-critique has been turned on so that the user may peer review their own document. Once the submissions have been allocated to each student, each student will be asked to give their input about each submission and the grade they would like to give the submissions.

k. Now that submissions have been peer read, it is time to start the grading process. When you are ready to move to the next phase, select the Assessment phase “light bulb”.

l. Select “Continue” on the next page.
* Workshop is a very powerful tool for grading writing assignments and peer review. It is very flexible and easy to navigate. For any reason, you can open the Workshop up again to edit Submissions or Assessments. In each section you just need to select the light bulb up at the top of the section you wish to activate and Workshop will lead you through the steps to modify your Workshop activity.
